Ha! Progress!!!!
It has been a productive month!
We received our subtank from Australia, after lots of hassles with shipping. It is now on the truck, and I managed to put $250 worth of diesel with another 50 litres to fill!!! The LandCruiser sits a little more level now, that’s for sure.
We have the beginnings of a storage system for the rear! I have finished most of the structure for our rear storage system. Made out of 3/4″ ply, screwed and glued, it will take a beating. Next is building the drawers (2 17x36x8 on hd slides) where the camp stove, cooking supplies and tools will go. Also, we will be building a top shelf for the Pelican case and ARB fridge.
We also received our new laptop, and i’m in the process of getting all our stuff moved over to it so that we can download pictures from the camera, tracks from the GPS, and road journals so that you peoples can keep track of us.
