Trip To Golden!
Over the Easter weekend we took a trip to Golden and stayed at the Kicking Horse Resort in a cabin. I always like going to Golden, something about the Kicking Horse Valley that just never gets old…
We had plenty of time to read, walk, drink and sit in the hot tub. Not the most productive weekend, but sometimes you need to relax.
We took a hike around Cedar Lake, which is just east of the Kicking Horse. Its one of the many BC Forest Service Campgrounds that I just can’t wait to use in the summer. The road was a little snowy this time of year, and too many snow machines.
We also went and poked around Blaeberry just West of Golden. We explored some of the back roads, but saved the trip up to the falls for the summer. Beautiful old homes on nice sized pieces of land, with a full view of the valley to boot.
We also took a loop through Pritchard to pickup Wailin, and we continued along the Duck Range Road to HWY 97. Again, I can’t wait until the summer!
