Finally!
It is now in our possesion, the (allegedly) mighty Landcruiser! We picked it up (again) mid-July, and it hasn’t broken down yet! Ok, so it should never break down again. Usually when I break a car, I lose faith in it. But this rig is different; we are definitely not holding her little problem against her. Oh, so much time could be spent raving about this truck. It’s very comfortable, easy to drive (even with RHD 5-spd), barrels of fun off-road. People stare at us. I haven’t decided whether it looks better clean and shiny or caked with mud. I’m seriously debating polishing it, then getting it covered with mud so we can have the best of both worlds…
Don’t lose faith! We know, we know. The website is not growing like a weed. Well folks, we have a little thing called getting married to get out of the way before mondo web design can occur. September 15th is the big day, then it’s off to the west coast to do some more road trippage with the rig. Who knows, we may even come back with a roof rack and tent slapped on top…:)But for now, rest assured that come the fall, things will start motoring again! Research is happening as we speak; updates are being mentally planned.
